You should check out The Wheeler Centre located beside the State Library in Melbourne. It has free events most days about books, writing and ideas. And if you can't get to the event in person, you can always upload the video from the website. There's a vast list of past interviews. The first one I watched was an interview with David Astle, a cryptic crossword compiler.
