The bag making bible

Another bag making book on my bookshelf is 'The bag making bible' by English bag maker and blogger Lisa Lam. What attracted me to this book is that its organised according to different aspects of bag construction, such as, linings, pockets, closures. Each chapter has instructions explaining different construction techniques followed by a project for making a bag that incorporates the techniques discussed. This is a great book for learning about bag making. You can make the bags from the patterns provided or for the more skilled or adventurous design your own bags using the ideas from the book. For me its a handy reference book for when I want to be creative and make a bag from scratch.
